We recognize the importance of building a Biblical foundation in the lives of our children and teenagers. That’s why we have several different areas in which they can learn more and grow together in their walk with Christ.
Sunday School
Our children and youth Sunday School classes allow the children to have time to spend together in God’s word, both through the lesson and reinforcing activities. Our Sunday School classes meet from 9:45-10:45.
Children’s Church
Our children join us during the singing portion of our service but have their own unique time for a message during the preaching portion of our service. The children younger than 6th grade go to a room where they hear a lesson that is geared directly to what they need to hear. Those in 6th grade and older remain in the Sanctuary for the message.
Summer Basketball League
During the summer, we offer a recreational basketball league for any interested player. We provide a safe environment for children of all skill levels to gain new skills and keep their existing skills up through practices and competitions throughout the summer.
Van Ministry
Every Sunday morning and evening, we pick up a number of children from around Christiansburg and Blacksburg to enable them to participate in our church activities. If you are interested in having your child picked up by our Van Ministry, please use the Contact Us form on this site.
