God's Will In God's Word
And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “ ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ” Acts 13:46–47 << Test First Name >>, How would you like to hear from God? Well. . . join us this Sunday—you definitely will! How can I be so certain? Paul didn’t set out for Troas knowing that was where God wanted him. Yet God was directing him—not through guesswork, hunches, or random signs. Paul heard Jesus’s voice directly, and that encounter guided his path for the rest of his life. You and I can hear that same voice—through Scripture. The precepts, principles, and patterns of God’s Word shaped Paul’s journey, even when he didn’t know where he was going. And God’s voice is just as powerful for us today. So how do I know we will hear from God this Sunday? Because we will read His Word together! When we open the Bible, we can know for certain that we have heard from God. Join us this Sunday as we read God’s Word and discover how it guides us into His perfect will.
