Ever get lost thinking about the great songs you grew up listening to? Depending on how old you are, those songs may be classic hits. You have heard them so many times that you don’t even hear the words anymore!
Unfortunately, we sometimes do that with another set of songs. In the Bible, the book of Psalms contains 150 different poems that were designed to be set to music. Some of those Psalms are obscure, but many of them are passages that lots of people are familiar with. So familiar, in fact, that they have lost their meaning, just like classic hits from days gone by.
